An open letter to all those who have read Lord of the Rings:
Brothers and their Sisters,
It has been a great pleasure writing this letter to millions of people in the world who've read the LOTR trilogy. I picked up a very thick (read unabridged) version of the LOTR (all 3 books in one) about a week ago and still have no clue how to get interested enough to read any further than the ever so boring 'History of Hobbits' in the prologue. I tried consulting CS but was dissappointed when I found out that he HATES books which concern anything but technology (from what I have heard, the only techie things in LOTR are the special effects in the movie). Moreover, with due respects (and 2 carrots), to him, I relish revealing that he cant stand any book which has more than a hundred pages. So, please help me.

The answer to the trivia in (2) is:

If this is the first blog you read on my site, just dont read it now. First read the one titled ME, MYSELF AND I. Never mind, I can't force you. So, the WHITE RABBIT. He is nothing but my mascot and friend and I call him Crookshanks(CS) (for some reasons other than my love for Harry Potter books).

It was mainly his idea to start this blog which would showcase his brain and my creativity.


The issue which we would like to focus is a question which is discussed over and over again and yet no decicive answer is obtained-"WHAT IS THE NEED OF GMAIL?". Having heard of GMail 2 months before I did, CS is in a better position than me to deal with the topic (you bet he always is....). According to him, the idea o fproviding 1GB email storage to the common man does nothing other than creating an aura of self-proclaimed superiority around himself.

People belonging to the elite "@gmail.com" group feel that they have conqured the world and are always reluctant to give away invitations. The other day, CS informed me that one guy is selling an invitation for $10. If that does not make your jaw drop, this surely will-there were buyers.

1 GB is useful only when you own a large firm and accept resumes via email. Otherwise, no offence meant, it is useless. Nonetheless, love it or hate it, you can never neglect it. Even I would love to get a GMail invitation, regardless of the cold stares CS is giving me right now. After all, its only human to want more, you'd never know it, CS.
